Since 1991 Genotype has been part of the European effort for the analysis of various genomes:

- S. cerevisiae (brewer's and baker's yeast)
- S. pombe (fission yeast)
- Bacillus subtilis (soil bacterium)
- Arabidopsis thaliana (model plant)
- Leishmania major (intracellular parasite)

Genotype has supplied 4.2 megabases of DNA information to the European consortia, which were submitted to public databases.
